Hello, beauty lovers! Today I want to review for you the Perfect Cover B.B Cream from Missha.
First, let me tell you how I stumbled upon it. Around March I placed an order for some Neutrogena cleanser and a Maybelline concealer. With this order came some samples, and one of them was the Perfect Cover B.B Cream. At that time I was still detoxifying my skin, so I didn’t try it right away. But after a week or so, when I put it on, I fell in love with it!!!
Let me elaborate on that.
Price: $22.00 for 50ml. Not that bad, in Romania it’s in the same range with L’oreal, Bourjois, but they only sell bottles of 30ml.
Its claim: gives excellent coverage while being lightweight, corrects dark spots, protects against UV rays and has anti-aging properties.
I already said my opinion on it, but I suppose you want to know why I love it that much.
First, you get a lot of product for you bucks. Second, it does give excellent coverage for a B.B cream. Medium coverage, but you can built it up to full. But keep it light layers, because it can look cakey if you built it too much.
Because it’s such a perfect cover(er) (see what I did there???! :DD), it does conceal dark spots, and if you don’t have too severe dark circles, you can get away only with the B.B cream. Even if it provides such a good coverage, it’s very lightweight, you don’t even feel it on your skin.
It looks like my skin but better!
Because of the high SPF, it’s great against UV rays. Plus, you don’t have to use another SPF on your face.
Personally, I like wearing it without moisturizer. The first couple of times I used it with a moisturizer, first for oily skin, then for normal skin, and I found that I had to blot & powder after one-two hours. Therefore, I guess it’s more for a drier type of skin. But since I use it by itself, with no primer, no moisturizer, it’s perfect, I don’t have to powder that often anymore. After 3-4 hours, I blot and I’m good to go again.
I also used it on a photoshoot, on myself and on another person, but only in daylight (no flash) and it looked beautiful.
Overall, I love it! Let me show you some pictures to see how it actually looks like.
I have pretty good skin, just a few spots on my chin and around my nose. Also, combination skin. No color adjustment was made!
A tad whiter than my neck, right now, but I get away with bronzer and all those goodies.
